Spices constitute an important group of agricultural commodities which are virtually indispensable in the culinary art. Gandhi Spices Pvt. Ltd. is a world class processor and exporter of a variety of spices to all the developed markets of the world. The processing facilities, located in the Rajkot Special Economic Zone Gujarat, India, compares favorably with any similar plant in the world. We are certified ISO 9001:2000 ?Swiso? and have an integrated HACCP program incorporated into our process manuals. The HACCP programme is certified by Swiso.
We procure all our indigenous raw materials directly from the farm level through several approved collecting agents. Raw material procured from other origins are always from reputed suppliers who can assure and stand by the quality of the goods that they supply to us. The processing facilities have modern and state of the art equipment and, through their integrated HACCP program, are able to ensure a very high degree of reliability and adherence to specifications. This is backed up by a very sophisticated Quality Assurance Laboratory staffed by highly trained and qualified personnel. The QA function is integrated to the production and work very closely together to ensure that every bag of product that is shipped conforms to the customer's requirement.
Export containers are stuffed and sealed at our premises and thereby we can ensure control at every stage. We plan production and shipments such that it meets the specific quality and shipment requirements of customers.
?Why this masala doesn't come in pack? ?
Shri Muktilal J. Dubal moved by this simple question of his wife. Later, in year 1952 he started to pack masala and named it Hathi Masala to represent grandeur taste and aroma. This innovative venture emerged as a packaged spices company and called Gandhi Spices Pvt. Ltd. (GSPvL).
Eventually GSPvL set a factory with huge production capacity at Hapa near Jamangar City in year 1972. Generation changed. Shri Jitendra M. Dubal - Chairman and Shri Sudhir M. Dubal, Marketing - Director hold the navigation of company. Shri Sukhdev J. Dubal took the responsibility of Finance division and Shri Pankaj J. Dubal manages Marketing division of Jamnagar region. Sudhir & Co. started as a sales depot to cater huge demand of Rajkot city.
Keeping pace with the time, truly high tech plant set up at Khandheri near Rajkot in year 1993 followed by cold storage in year 1998 to preserve raw material in best conditions. Till date Hathi Masala has 3 ground spices, 12 of its variants and 17 spices mixes in its kitty.
